During term time, there are three meals on weekdays: an early self-service continental breakfast, breakfast (cooked or continental), a cooked lunch and a cooked dinner. On Saturdays, brunch replaces breakfast and lunch, and no dinner is served. On Sundays, there is one breakfast session and a cooked lunch.
On Thursday evenings during term time, more formal meals are served, with the College Grace said at the start of the meal. Students have the opportunity to invite friends to join us. There are also termly formal black-tie dinners.
It is compulsory for all students living in college rooms to be accommodated on at least a half-board basis. Families are welcome to join students in the dining hall for meals. For details of current charges, please visit the Accommodation page.

However, there is flexibility to exchange a dinner for a lunch on occasion, if desired. Additional meals can be taken at student rates (please refer to the college handbook for these).
